Putnam charges forward in Deep Fried 75 with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series

On Saturday afternoon, Josh Putnam returned to Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series competition after its summer break by traveling to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) for the $20,000 Deep Fried 75.

In a stout field of 39 Late Models, Putnam lost a couple spots in his heat race but managed to nab the final A-Main transfer spot. Rolling off from the 14th-starting position, Putnam slowly navigated his way through the field during the 75-lap main event to land inside the Top-10 in sixth.

Putnam is currently second in the series points standings.

Josh plans to be at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Ala.) and Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) with the Valvoline Iron-Man Series this coming weekend.
