Strong Top-5 outing with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series in Deep Fried 75

On Saturday afternoon, Trey Mills returned to Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series competition after its summer break by making the long haul to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) for the Deep Fried 75.

In a stout field of 39 Late Models, Mills qualified fourth-fastest before outdueling Evan Ellis for a heat race victory. Redrawing the No. 2 position for the lengthy 75-lap feature, Trey faded early to seventh-place but recovered to record a Top-5 finish in fifth. He trailed race-winner Mike Marlar, Dale McDowell, Jadon Frame, and Joseph Joiner who made up the Top-5 finishers.

Mills currently sits fourth in series points.
