Sixth-place outing in rescheduled Southern Nationals event at East Alabama
Returning to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) for Friday's rain-postponed Southern Nationals Series event, Sam Seawright prepared for a two-day weekend at the track.
Placing second in his B-Main, Seawright started the $7,553-to-win feature from sixth-row and wheeled his way inside the Top-10 in sixth.
With another event at the track on Saturday, Sam Seawright stayed overnight to compete with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for a $10,000 prize.
With 27 Late Models signed in, Sam nabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race which placed him in the 15th-position for the 50-lap feature. With the surface taking rubber fairly quickly, Seawright was unable to make up any spots and finished 17th.
