Fifth-place outing in C.J. Rayburn Memorial at Circle City Raceway
For Labor Day weekend, Dustin Linville followed the Ultimate Heart of America Series to Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of a doubleheader.
With a strong 35-car field signed in, Linville laid down the fifth-fastest lap in his qualifying group and went from 3rd-to-1st in his heat race. Sitting on the pole for the first $10,000-to-win feature of the weekend, Dustin faded back to eighth early but rallied to finish inside the Top-5 in fifth.
Traveling overnight to Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.) on Saturday, Dustin finished fourth in his heat race and recorded a Top-10 in ninth for the $10,000-to-win feature.
