King bags top-five finish with Titan Legends Series at Diamond Park

Kicking off his Labor Day weekend in the Limited Modified ranks, Michael King Jr. traveled to Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Ark.) on Friday evening to pilot his PPG Paints No. 14JR entry for the Labor Day special.

After battling suspension issues in his heat, King attempted to go out for the feature but made the decision to pull off early.

Back in action on Sunday, Michael broke out his Late Model for the Titan Legends Series presented by SuperClean sanctioned program at Diamond Park Speedway (Murfreesboro, Ark.). With a third-place finish in his heat race placing him on the third row for the $1,000-to-win A-Main, King clawed forward one spot in the 20-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He chased Chandler Petty, Steven Crocker, Joseph Long, and Bryce Clark to the checkers.
