Mullens claims Topless at the Creek victory

Tanner Mullens took on Creek County Speedway (Sapulpa, Oklahoma) on Saturday for the quarter-mile oval’s annual Topless at the Creek event. He left with the $2,500 winner’s check.

An impressive 48 topless Modifieds in the pit area necessitated six heat races to help set the field for the 30-lap main event. Mullens won his heat after charging forward from the eighth starting spot and landed on the pole for the A-Main.

He went on to score the victory in the feature, taking the checkered flag in front of Greg Skaggs, Jared Russell, Mitchell Clement and Scott Drake.

The win was Mullens’ eighth feature triumph of 2023.
