Will Roland tackles World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Making the trek to Ohio, Will Roland invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon to begin the 53rd-annual World 100 weekend.
With the whopping 102 Late Models split into two groups, Roland finished eighth in his heat race and just missed an A-Main transfer in his Last Chance Showdown by two positions.
Hoping for a better night on Friday, Will transferred through his heat race after starting on the pole and finishing fourth. For the $12,000-to-win preliminary feature, Roland finished 16th in the rundown.
For Saturday's $56,000-to-win finale, Roland was slated to start eighth in his heat race based on Eldora's Every Lap Matters format. Falling back early in the race, Will pulled off after six laps and was scored 14th.
