Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series vs. WoO CASE Construction Late Model Series in 40th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic at Brownstown Speedway

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (October 1, 2023) – The Valvoline Iron-Man Racing Northern Series will return to action with a visit to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN on Friday October 6 for the track’s 40th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic paying $10,000 to win and $1,000 to start. The event will be co-sanctioned with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series, marking the first-time ever that the two series have co-sanctioned an event.

The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series and World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series will be at Brownstown Speedway on Friday October 6 for the 40th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic and will be featured in a full program of Denby’s J&J Construction Hot Laps, E-Z-GO Time Trials, Heat Races, Impact RaceGear B-Mains, and the 40 lap, $10,000 to win/$1,000 to start 40th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic Valvoline A-Main event. The Signals Driving School UMP DIRTcar Modifieds will also be in competition as part of the 40th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic event.

Activities at Brownstown Speedway for the 40th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic on Friday October 6 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 2:00 p.m. Driver registration will be at the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Command Center from 4:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., with hot laps and time trials set to begin at 7:00 p.m., with racing immediately following practice and time trials. Ticket prices at Brownstown Speedway for the 40th Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic on Friday October 6 in the general admission area will be $30 for adults, while a pit pass will be an additional $15 at the pit gate.

The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series and the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series will co-sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event and the tire rule will be as follows: Left Front- Open Hoosier Only; Right Front/Left Rear- Hoosier (90) NLMT 2, (90) NLMT 3; Right Rear- Hoosier (92) NLMT 3, (92) NLMT 4 (grooving/siping of tires is allowed; the droop rule will be in effect, along with 2023 WoO Technical/Safety rules). The entry fee will be $125 (must be a DIRTcar member to race) and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. Any driver not making the 24-car starting field will receive $110 tow money (must start B-Main).
