King visits Greenville Speedway for Gumbo Nationals finale
Taking part in Saturday’s portion of the 17th annual Gumbo Nationals, Michael King Jr. traveled to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Miss.) to compete in the Super Late Model ranks for the unsanctioned event.
Drawing 19 Late Models, King Jr. squeezed into the $10,000-to-win Gumbo Nationals finale with a sixth-place finish in his heat. Muscling forward five spots in the 50-lap affair, Michael rolled to a 12th-place finish.
