Michael King Jr. collects podium finish at Sabine Speedway

Michael King Jr. made a surprise appearance at Sabine Speedway (Many, La.) on Saturday aboard his Thurmon’s Heat & Air No. 14JR Limited Modified for the track’s Championship Night.

In a stout field of 40 USRA Modifieds, King raced into the A-Main with a runner-up showing in his B-Main after missing a transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off on the sixth row, Michael marched through the field nine positions to register a third-place finish. He followed Derick Grigsby and Ralo Pilkington across the line with Ethan Bailes and Talan Willis rounding out the Top-5.
