Logan Roberson
Hard charging Roberson records fifth-place finish in World Short Track Championship
With a preliminary program on Thursday kicking off the three-day event, Roberson qualified for the 15-lap All-Star Invitational feature with the third-fastest lap in his group. Pinned on the ninth row via the pill draw, Logan was an early retiree on the sixth circuit, relegating him to 18th in the finishing order.
On Friday, Logan timed in third-fastest in his 30-car group in qualifying before placing second in his heat race, which secured him a starting spot in Saturday's finale.
Earning the 12th-starting position for $4,000-to-win World Short Track Championship A-Main, Roberson stormed through the field seven spots in the 30-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He chased Trent Ivey, Dennis Franklin, Jeremy Steele, and John Ruggiero Jr. to the checkers.
