Bryan Bernheisel visits Charlotte for World of Outlaws World Finals
Bryan Bernheisel trekked to The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) to kick off the 17th running of the World of Outlaws World Finals with Wednesday’s dual qualifying round.
With the 74-car World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series sanctioned field divided into two groups, Bryan backed up the 21st-fastest lap in his first session with the 16th-quickest lap in his second round.
Pinned on the fourth row of his stacked heat race on Thursday night, Bernheisel slipped up one spot, relegating him into one of three consolation races. Locking the top-two into Thursday’s preliminary feature, Bryan recorded a 13th-place outing.
On Friday, Bryan followed up a seventh-place finish in his heat with a ninth-place showing in his B-Main, ending his night early.
The weekend drew to a close on Saturday after Bryan followed up an eighth-to-sixth run in his heat with an 11th-place result in his consolation event.
