Hedgecock finishes fourth in Ice Bowl XXXIII at TST
Joined by his new teammate Hayden Cardwell to kick off the 2024 season, Cory Hedgecock invaded Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Ice Bowl XXXIII.
Drawing 37 Rogers Dabbs Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series entries, Cory clocked in second-fastest in his qualifying group before picking up a flag-to-flag victory in his heat.
Chasing the $4,000 top prize in Saturday’s main event, Hedgecock salvaged a fourth-place finish after losing two spots in the final seven circuits. With fellow BMF Chassis driver Will Roland winning the 40-lapper, Hedgecock trailed Roland, Tyler Millwood, and Matt Henderson to the checkers with Cruz Skinner coming in fifth.
