Daniel Adam continues Speedweek trek at Ocala Speedway

Daniel Adam unloaded his No. 75 at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon for the second track of his Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Speedweeks.

With 40 Late Models on site for the first night of the Winter Nationals, Adam was unable to make up any ground in his heat race which relegated him to a B-Main where he would finish outside of a transfer spot in eighth.

With the field elevated to 43 entries on Wednesday, Daniel once again found himself needing a Top-3 finish in a B-Main to transfer to the $10,000-to-win main event. Unfortunately, Adam finished 10th in his B-Main.

Switching gears to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) on Friday evening, Adam qualified 10th-quickest but fell back in his heat race to ninth. Needing a Top-2 finish in his B-Main to transfer to the feature, Daniel recorded a 13th-place finish.

For Saturday's finale, Daniel stopped the clock fifth-quickest in qualifying but dealt with mechanical issues which prevented him from participating in his heat race. In his B-Main, Adam was an early retiree.
