Daniel Adam closes out Lucas Oil Speedweeks at East Bay Raceway Park

With the first night of action postponed due to rain showers, Daniel Adam checked into East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, FL) on Tuesday afternoon to compete with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

With 75 Late Models in attendance for the final East Bay Winternationals, Adam was in a good position to make the feature event through his B-Main before mechanical issues sidelined him for the remainder of the evening.

Sneaking into Wednesday's $7,000-to-win feature, Adam completed all 40-laps en route to an 18th-place finish.

For the first five-figure payday on Thursday, Daniel missed the setup in qualifying and went backwards in his heat and B-Main which ultimately caused him to miss the A-Main.

Picking up speed on Friday, Adam stopped the clock ninth-fastest in qualifying but fell back in his heat race which relegated him to a B-Main. Needing a Top-2 finish, Daniel recorded a sixth-place outing.

For East Bay's final Winternationals event on Saturday, Daniel once again found himself in a B-Main and despite a charge to the front, Daniel still came up a few spots short.
