BShep second in Deuces Wild finale at Golden Isles Speedway

With Friday’s opener plagued by wet weather, Brandon Sheppard joined 44 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Saturday for the second round of the Deuces Wild event.

After picking up a convincing heat victory, Sheppard muscled forward two spots in the 50-lap feature to finish second. He nosed ahead of pacesetter Mike Marlar on lap 28 only to lose the top spot on the ensuing circuit. When the checkers flew in the main event, Brandon chased Marlar to the checkers with Chris Madden rounding out the podium.
