Early exit in Deuces Wild finale at Golden Isles Speedway
Drake Troutman wrapped up the 2024 Florida-Georgia Speedweeks with Saturday’s Deuces Wild finale at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.).
Missing a transfer spot by one car in his heat with a fifth-place finish, Troutman was relegated into a consolation race for another shot at the $20,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned feature. After missing a transfer spot, Drake took a provisional into the 50-lap feature but was an early retiree on the ninth circuit.
