TULSA, Okla. (March 10, 2024) Capturing his first career victory with the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division, Missouri’s Cole Tinsley pocketed $10,000 at the Milestone Home Service Co. Outlaw Nationals presented by Start2Finish TV, while Braxton Weger topped Restricted, with Lathan Knott winnig Junior Sprints.

Second on the first start to Joe B. Miller, the restart went the way of Tinsley, who went on to lead start to finish. One other caution on Lap 38 for Jeffrey Newell, who had been running second since Lap 23, the restart put Joe B. Miller back in the hunt, but would not be challenged, with a 1.395-second advantage at the finish.

Miller, in second, was trailed by Kris Carroll, who raced from ninth. One of the few drivers able to use the top early on, Steven Snyder, Jr., shot 18th to fourth in the Hyper No. 21s. Colby Sokol completed the top five.

Grabbing the $2,000 prize in Restricted, Braxton Weger had to battle hard for his eighth career NOW600 score. Pacing the first seven laps, a slip allowed Braxton Flatt to take over. Getting room to breathe until traffic, the slower cars allowed Weger to close.

Getting to Flatt, who opened his line into the third and fourth turn, the pair were wheel-to-wheel, with Weger taking control of the line while Flatt made contact with his right side tires. Spinning and recovering, Flatt rolled to third. One final caution in the late stages, Kyle Hopper, who took second after Flatt spun, looked, but could not keep pace as Weger pulled away by 1.453-seconds. Hooper and Flatt made up the podium. Mekentzi Poter rolled from tenth to fourth, with Mattix McBride in fifth.

Not to be denied, Lathan Knott completed the weekend sweep in Junior Sprints. Falling to second after Lap 7, it was Colin Pruitt who took over, with the pair trading the lead through Lap 10. Still in pursuit, Pruitt clipped an infield tire and collected third-running Bouy and fourth-running Ballard, which moved Sawyer McBride to second.

Unable to challenge, Knott won by 0.324-seconds. Luke Booher was third, with fourth to Eli Potter. Wyatt Yore recovered from a misstep at the start of the race to finish fifth.

Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division races again on Friday, March 22, and, Saturday, March 23 at Electric City Speedway in Butler, Mo.
