Tim Ward tallies second win of 2024 at Cocopah
Tim Ward entered a single event over the weekend with a short trip to Cocopah Speedway (Somerton, Ari.) to pilot his Toby K’s Hideaway No. 4TW Modified for the IMCA Weekly Racing Series event.
Charging from the fourth row in the feature after placing third in his heat race, Ward regained the lead for good on lap 16 and paced the final five circuits to claim his second win of the season. He bested Grey Ferrando, Jonathan Mawhinney, Troy Morris III, and Mike Dimond in the 20-lapper.
With a busy slate of events scheduled for March, Tim did not compete on Saturday in preparation to head east.
