HTF Series Weather Update: Talladega Short Track's Bama Bash Set to Run as Single-Day Event on Saturday
Adjusted Weekend Schedule Features $15,000-to-win Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Show on Saturday while Wet Weather Dooms Thursday's Practice and Friday's Weekend Opener
MILTON, Fla. (March 13) — Plans for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to kick off its season this weekend at Talladega Short Track's Bama Bash remain on, albeit with a condensed schedule. Originally planned as a Friday-Saturday doubleheader with a Thursday practice session, the weekend event has been condensed to a Saturday-only show due to an unfavorable weather forecast on Friday.
The $5,000-to-win show planned for Friday night has been cancelled and will not be made up. In order to keep the pit area empty and avoid messy grounds for Saturday, Thursday's practice has also been cancelled along with Thursday's HTF Series Media Day.
Gate opening times for Saturday's event will be announced Saturday morning. Saturday's start times remain as planned with the drivers meeting scheduled for 5:30 pm central time, hot laps set for 6, and racing to follow.
Along with the HTF Series Super Late Models, Saturday's program also features a $2,000-to-win race for Crate Racin’ USA Late Models, a $1,000-to-win show for Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman, and a $750-to-win feature for Hot Shots. All of Saturday's action will be streamed live at www.huntthefront.tv.
