Tyler Stevens takes on Arrowhead with CCSDS
A trip to Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Oklahoma, was on the docket for Tyler Stevens on Friday as he competed in the $5,000-to-win Triple Threat with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS).
Stevens clocked the second-quickest time in his group qualifying session on the 1/3-mile track as 40 CCSDS Super Late Models dotted the pit area. He went on to win his heat race at the Sooner State speed plant and began the 35-lap main event from the second row. However, he ran into trouble and did not finish, recording a 26th-place result.
Stevens elected not to compete in Saturday’s $5,000-to-win March Madness program at Springfield Raceway in Missouri.
