McCowan Racing Races in Indiana and Ohio

Dillon McCowan continued his early-season plan of competing at new tracks with a trip to Indiana and Ohio over the weekend for Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competition.

Action opened on Saturday at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway the $15,000-to-win Indiana Icebreaker.

With 48 entries on hand, McCowan was unable to race into the feature with his night ending in a B-Main.

On Sunday the team invaded Ohio's Atomic Speedway for the first time for the $12,000-to-win Buckeye Spring 50. A talent-laden field of 42 entries took part in the program, and while McCowan made gains throughout the night, he saw his outing end with a sixth-place finish in his respective B-Main.
