Sixth-place outing in Doug Walls Memorial at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park

Friday afternoon saw Cla Knight kick off a busy Easter weekend of racing at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) for the $10,000-to-win Doug Walls Memorial with the Mid-East Super Late Models.

Among a stout 43-car field, Knight stopped the clock fourth-quickest in his group and got the jump in his heat race to secure the victory. Rolling off from outside row two in the 48-lap main event, Cla raced inside the Top-10 and landed in sixth when the checkered flag flew.

Looking for another strong outing on Saturday at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.), Knight started and finished 13th in the $7,500-to-win feature.
