An Action-Packed May at Circle City Raceway
Every May, thousands of race fans from around the world travel right here to Indiana for the Indianapolis 500, which is why Indianapolis is known as the racing capital of the world. Just 14 miles down the road from that world-renowned venue sits our track, Circle City Raceway, ready to take on the month of May at full force! We've got an amazing slate lined up for you all and can't wait to witness all the action this month has to offer!
FRIDAY, MAY 3RD get ready for an exhilarating start to the month with a spectacular lineup of 5 action-packed classes! Join us as we witness Steel Block Sprints, USSA Mel Kenyon Midgets, Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Hornets compete for an early-season win and kick off the month in style.

FRIDAY, MAY 17th is the annual $10,000 to win CJ RAYBURN TRIBUTE! Every year, we here at Circle City Raceway look to honor CJ for his lasting impact on the racing world, being one of the greatest car builders and mentors of all time. With that being said, Super Late Models will race to win $10,000, making this a must-win on the schedule of many racers! But that's not all - we'll also be hosting the FIRST ANNUAL ROY CARUTHERS MEMORIAL RACE for the Midwest Throwback Sprint Cars! After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Roy passed away in August of last year. His obituary reads, "Roy Caruthers’ life was a remarkable journey of a racer, mentor, and fighter. His legacy serves as a reminder that even in the face of the most challenging circumstances, the human spirit can shine brightly. As we bid farewell to a beloved figure, let us celebrate the impact he had on the racing world and beyond". With that being said, join us on this night in celebrating two men who left a lasting mark on the world of racing. In addition to Late Models and the Midwest Throwback Sprints, four other classes will also take the track to compete, including 600cc Outlaw Non-Winged Micros, Pure Stocks, Crown Vics, and Hornets.
