Benji Hicks records 11th-place outing with HTFSDS at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
With the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series in town, Benji Hicks was in attendance at his home track of Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday afternoon.
Clocking in sixth-fastest in his stacked qualifying group, Hicks earned his spot in the $10,000-to-win feature with a runner-up finish in his heat. Starting seventh in the 50-lap main event, Benji kept his nose clean but fell back four spots to finish 11th.
Saturday's $20,000-to-win Buddy Crook Memorial at Lancaster (S.C.) Motor Speedway was cancelled due to overnight rain showers.
