Trent Ivey follows Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
With the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series close to home over the weekend, Trent Ivey was one of 37 Super Late Models checked in at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday afternoon.
Stopping the clock ninth-fastest in his qualifying group, Ivey finished sixth in his heat race which placed him starting third in his last chance qualifier. Racing for a transfer spot, Trent made contact with another competitor and was unable to recover as he finished seventh.
Saturday's $20,000-to-win Buddy Crook Memorial at Lancaster (S.C.) Motor Speedway was cancelled due to overnight rain showers.
Ivey is currently 19th in the HTFSDS point standings.
