Cory Hedgecock follows Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
Making the long trip to the Carolinas, Cory Hedgecock was one of 37 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Late Models at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday afternoon.
Clocking in 11th-quickest in his qualifying group, Hedgecock finished one spot out of a transfer in his heat race which placed him on the pole of a last chance qualifier. While battling for position, Cory folded his nose under the car which ended his race. Taking a provisional for the $10,000-to-win feature, Hedgecock completed one lap and pulled off.
Saturday's $20,000-to-win Buddy Crook Memorial at Lancaster (S.C.) Motor Speedway was cancelled due to overnight rain showers.
Hise is currently 7th in the HTFSDS point standings.
