Bagley drives to CCSDS points lead at Batesville
Morgan Bagley continued his consistent 2024 COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season on Friday and Saturday with two top-10 finishes in the Bad Boy 98 at Batesville Motor Speedway.
With 41 Super Late Models at the 3/8-mile oval in Locust Grove, Arkansas, on Friday, Bagley drove to a third-place finish in his heat race and rolled off 11th in the $5,000-to-win CCSDS feature. He climbed four positions in the 30-lapper to score a seventh-place result.
The next night, 39 CCSDS competitors descended on the Batesville track looking for a $12,000 first-place payout. Mo Bags turned in a fourth-place showing in his heat, putting him 15th on the grid to start the 68-lap finale. He stayed out of trouble and came home seventh for the second consecutive night.
Bagley is yet to finish outside the top 10 in seven CCSDS races this season, putting him atop the series point standings after the Batesville races.
