Dylan Thornton claims Stock Car victory at Clay County

Back in action after one day off, Dylan Thornton unloaded a pair of entries at Hancock County Speedway (Britt, Iowa) on Monday evening for the special event.

Following a fourth-place finish in the Stock Car feature, Dylan rebounded in the Modified main event after pulling off early in his heat with an 18th-to-6th run.

On Tuesday at Clay County Fair Speedway (Spencer, Iowa), Thornton raced into both features with a pair of heat race wins. His Modified was sidelined early in the A-Main but he was able to park his Salty’s BBQ & Catering No. 38T Stock Car in victory. The win marked his seventh overall victory of the season.

After Wednesday’s scheduled stop at Stuart Speedway (Stuart, Iowa) fell to wet weather, Dylan competed at Marshalltown Speedway (Marshalltown, Iowa) on Friday but did not finish the Modified feature.
