The Jasper, Ga., youngster claimed a $7,053 victory in front of his hometown crowd with a flag-to-flag performance in the 40-lap feature.

“Man, it feels so good. I just live 45 minutes down the road.” An elated Roland said in victory lane. “In front of all these fans, I’m glad we got to race, you know it’s been a while. We’ve struggled a little bit here recently in this car, but I hope I got it turned around, it’s a big confidence booster for me.

Will Roland joined the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals on Friday at Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga. ) on Friday afternoon to kick off his Memorial Day weekend aboard his BMF Race Cars No. 22 Late Model.
