Weekly championship racing featuring B-Mods, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stocks is on tap at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) along with the Show-Me Vintage Racing (SMVR) Series and POWRi Late Models on Saturday.

After completing a successful two-night race weekend over the Memorial Day holiday, CMS is keeping the momentum going again this weekend with the revised program and the addition of the POWRi Late Models to join the previously scheduled Show-Me Vintage Racers and the weekly race program. Dave Meyer in Super Stocks and Spencer Reiff in Pure Stocks will look to keep their winning momentum going after sweeping their respective divisions over Memorial Day weekend. Logan Roark in Midwest Mods and Stephen Clancy in B-Mods collected the big money wins in their respective divisions last Sunday.

Previous winners among the vintage racers and late models include Chad Eickleberry, fresh off a win at I-70 Speedway and Johnny Fennewald, who took a CMS win earlier this year in the late models. The mention of driver name does not guarantee race appearance. Visiting drivers and fans are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the CMS general race rules prior to competing this weekend by visiting the track website at www.centralmissourispeedway.net. There are no “entry fees” other than driver pit pass. POWRi drivers must possess a current license or obtain a temporary license on race night. CMS registration fees do apply for all weekly race divisions.

The racing has been spectacular in recent weeks and with the exciting lineup of car classes scheduled for this weekend, Saturday should be no exception. On race day, pit gates will open at 4:30, grandstands at 5, hot laps at 7, and races will begin at approximately 7:30.

Special event pricing will be in effect Saturday and will be as follows: $20 Adult Gen Adm - $15 Active Military & Seniors 65 to 74. $6 Kids Ages 6 to 12 - Kids 5 and Under Free. FREE: Seniors 75 and Up - Confined to Wheelchair. All Pit Passes $40 regardless of age.

Race #8, Saturday, June 1 Weekly Racing: B-Mods, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stocks, Plus, Guest Class Show-Me Vintage Racing (SMVR) and POWRi Late Models
