Pair of Top-5's highlight Memorial Day weekend for MAR Motorsports
MAR Motorsports and Jordan Ryan kicked off their Memorial Day weekend on Friday with a visit to Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) as the third-mile oval hosted the Venture Visionary Partners/Norwalk Concrete/Etna Supply/RPM Performance Parts Night.
With a field of 29 Sprinters competing in the Memorial Day lid-lifter, Ryan backed up the 13th-fastest qualifying effort with a third-place showing in his heat race. Taking the green in ninth for the 30-lap feature, Jordan advanced through the field seven spots to register a second-place finish. He chased race-long pacesetter Cale Thomas across the line with Trey Jacobs joining them on the podium.
On Saturday evening at Wayne County Speedway (Orrville, Ohio), Jordan stormed into the main event with a third-to-first run in his eight-lap heat. Losing one spot on a track with limited visibility, Ryan capped off the weekend with a fourth-place finish. He trailed Lee Jacobs, Tyler Gunn, and Jamie Myers across the line with Ricky Peterson coming in fifth.
