Robinson rallies to sixth-place finish at Bloomington Speedway
Kent Robinson returned to the driver’s seat of the Blackwood Racing No. 93 Late Model over the weekend for Friday’s Ultimate Heart of America Series sanctioned event at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Ind.).
In a field of 22 cars, Robinson claimed the overall fast time honors in qualifying with an 11.953-second lap before placing second in his heat. With a $5,000 top prize up for grabs in the feature, Kent rallied to finish sixth in the 40-lapper after a bobble on the cushion early dropped him from the lead.
