Grissom and Luark get the triple, Snyder gets first, and Richardson wins $1,000

A jam-packed crowd filled the seats at Birch Run Speedway for Monster X Metals and Gold Eve of Destruction round two to kick off Father's Day weekend! Seven events highlighted the night, along with the kids in attendance getting in on the action.

The first of two Pull Races saw Jason Grissom pull his partner, Aaron Abeare to victory. In the second, Justin Pepitone and partner Gerry Persails Jr. took the checkers.

With partner Will Bland, Jeremy Snyder took the win in Push Race number one for both drivers' first checkered flags at Birch Run Speedway! Silas McCaslin and partner Cody Luark were victorious in Pull Race Two.

The Back To School race returned to the third mile, with the event being red-flagged early when Caitlin Scully ended up under the back of the bus and fortunately, she was ok. Cody Luark took advantage of the majority of the field getting caught behind the red lights of the bus multiple times to secure another victory on the night.

The Top Speed Motorsports Spectator Drag race was won by Glenn Kern after beating Jiim Miller Jr. in the best two-out-of-three race.

Jason Grissom scored his second win of the night when he crossed the line first in Flagpole Race One. Cody Luark won Flagpole Race Two after dodging competitors and a barrage of water balloons and squirt gun shots from the kids in attendance!

One thousand dollars was on the line when the Figure 8 Enduro drivers hit the track. 16 drivers entered, but in the end, it was Anthony Richardson rebounding from a dismal night by his standards and claiming the win and the big money!

The night was capped off by the Mid Michigan Mayhem School Bus Figure 8's and Jason Grissom survived some two and three-wide racing to get to victory lane for his third win of the night!

Birch Run Speedway returns to action this Friday night with the running of the Amber Lucynski Memorial Race Presented by Racing for Suicide Awareness and will feature the Wheeler Trucking Modifieds, Showcase Auto Sales of Chesaning Street Stocks, the Limited Late Models, Finish Line Seamless Gutters Pure Stocks, American Trucks, Top Speed Motorsports Spectator Drags, and the Figure 8's.

There will be additional money on the line for all classes and raffles throughout the evening, including a chance for four lucky people 18 and older to get a 5-lap ride with Mike Findlay in his racecar around the Birch Run Speedway!
