Chase Allen Earns First Win Of 2024

DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Up Next

Midlothian, Texas (06/19/24) – Despite having to take time out of the seat due to health issues, that hasn't seemed to slow down Chase Allen as the Midlothian, Texas racer shot into Victory Lane this past Friday night at Heart O' Texas Speedway aboard his South Star JCB / S&S Fishing & Rental Inc. / Close Racing Supply No. 130 IRP Racing Chassis Modified.

The $2,000 payday marked his first win of the season in only his seventh start and his 150th victory of his career.

“This win right here is very special to me,” Allen said. “I received some news earlier in the year that forced me to prioritize my health and let racing take a back seat, but it’s nice to see I still got it. I want to dedicate this win, the 150th of my career, to my dad for always pushing me to the best I could be. I also want to thank my sponsors and supporters, but with Father’s Day coming up, I want to dedicate this one to my hero.”

Taking on the Touring Outlaw Modifieds (TOMS) on Friday at Heart O’ Texas Speedway (Elm Mott, Texas), Allen topped a field of 30 at the high-banked quarter-mile before picking up a win in his heat over Jake Huckaby. Lined up on the second row for the A-Main, Chase tracked down the leader by the eighth circuit and never let go, pacing to his first win of the season and 150th career triumph.

He collected the $2,000 top prize ahead of Jason Ingalls, Sam Cox, Jacob Pirkle, and Max Eddie Thomas.
