ASCS Elite Outlaw Back On Track At Heart O' Texas and Big O Speedway

WACO, Texas (June 19, 2024) Readying for a double-header weekend in the "Lone Star State", the MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprint Series will hit the track on Friday, June 21 at Heart O' Texas in Waco, and Saturday, June 22, at Big O Speedway in Ennis.
Friday's trip to Heart O' Texas is the season's second attempt at taking on the quarter-mile oval. Squashed by Mother Nature in April, the tour's last visit came in 2023 with Marcus Thomas taking the win after a back-and-forth battle with John Carney II.
Making their debut at Big O Speedway on Saturday, the track has seen ASCS action before with the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series last visiting on July 17, 2021. The wingless win went to Oklahoma's Steven Shebester.
With five events contested in 2024, Noah Gass leads tour standings by 34 over Blaine Baxter, with Austin Mundie trailing by 77 in third. Marcus Thomas and Sam Hafertepe, Jr. complete the top five.
Friday, June 21, at Heart O' Texas, opens at 6:00 P.M. Hot Laps at 7:30 P.M. and racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, $10 for youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35. Friday’s event includes IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Southern Sport Mods, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limited.

Saturday. June 22 at Big O Speedway opens at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, and free for kids 12 and under. Pits are $35. Other classes include UMP Super Late Models, Limited Modifieds, Eco Limited Modifieds, Jr. Limited Modifieds, Crown Vics, and Factory Stocks.
