Seawright fourth in Buddy Crook Memorial; Top-10 outing at Cherokee Speedway
Following the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to the Palmetto State, Sam Seawright checked into Lancaster (S.C.) Motor Speedway on Friday afternoon for the Buddy Crook Memorial.
Going from fifth-to-third in his heat race, Seawright started 10th in the $12,000-to-win main event and moved forward in a hectic feature to inside the Top-5 in fourth.
Keeping up his momentum at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Saturday, Sam earned his spot in the Rock Gault Memorial with a last chance qualifier victory before going from 17th-to-10th in the $20,000-to-win feature.
Seawright is currently runner-up in the series point standings behind Brandon Overton.
