Spencer Diercks rides to fourth-place finish at Plymouth

Spencer Diercks joined a stout field of 26 World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series entries at Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Monday for the Storm Shield Shootout.

After racing into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place heat performance, Spencer was the first retiree from the 40-lap affair on the second circuit.

Back in action on Saturday, Diercks capped off the weekend with a Top-5 run at Plymouth (Wisconsin) Dirt Track. Gunning for the $2,500 payday in the feature, Spencer rolled to a fourth-place finish in the 30-lapper. He chased Taylor Scheffer, Mitch McGrath, and Brad Mueller to the checkers with Justin Ritchie coming in fifth.
