ASCS Frontier Region Headed For Gallatin And Electric City Speedway

BELGRADE, Mont. (July 8, 2024): Looking ahead to the tour's fourth and fifth events of the 2024 season, the ASCS Frontier Region heads to Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont., on Friday, July 12, and Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont., on Saturday, July 13.

The second visit to Gallatin Speedway in 2024, the ASCS Frontier Region stormed the three-eighths-mile oval on June 7, with Oregon's Tyler Thompson landing his first of two wins on the weekend, with the other at Big Sky Speedway in Billings the following night.

The only trip to Electric City Speedway prior to the Montana Round-up on August 30-31 with the National Tour of the American Sprint Car Series, the Frontier Region's last trip, was during the 2023 event. Kelly Miller, Tyler Thompson, and Logan Forler atop the podium each night.

Tyler Thompson leads tour standings by 65 markers with three events complete. Canada's Kelly Miller sits second with Phil Dietz only three points removed. Jeremy McCune and his son, Damon McCune, make up the top five.

Friday, July 12, at Gallatin Speedway, opens at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7:00 p.m. (MDT). Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and free for kids 12 and under. Gallatin Speedway is located at 2290 Tubb Rd. in Belgrade, Mont. Information on the track is on their Facebook page, or by calling (406) 388-9666. Along with the ASCS Frontier Region, Friday’s event includes IMCA Modifieds and WISSOTA Street Stocks.

Located at 2801 Old Harve Hwy. north of Great Falls, Mont., Electic City Speedway opens at 5:30 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:00 p.m. (MDT) on Saturday, July 13. Other divisions on the card include WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and Super Stocks. Tickets are $20 for adults and $14 for seniors, military, and youth (13-17). Kids five and under get in for $5 when accompanied by a paying adult.

The 2024 season marks the 33rd season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours encompassing Wing and Non-Wing competition.
