Nothdurft races into Gopher 50 at Deer Creek; fourth-place outing with XR Super Series

Once again joining the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series, Blair Nothdurft was in attendance for the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 weekend at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.).

Having to reschedule the first preliminary night to Friday afternoon, Nothdurft finished 20th in the first $7,000-to-win prelim before recording a 14th-place outing in the evening's preliminary A-Main.

Racing his way into the $50,000-to-win finale through a Last Chance Showdown, Blair made up three spots from his tenth-row starting position to finish 17th.

Joining the XR Super Series at Fairmont (Minn.) Raceway on Sunday afternoon, Nothdurft started third in the $15,000-to-win main event and finished just off the podium in fourth.
