Ferguson earns hard charger with Lucas Oil at 34 Raceway
Fresh off a victory with the Paylor Motorsports team, Carson Ferguson stopped into Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Monday afternoon for the second Castrol FloRacing Night in America event of the season.
Clocking in 10th-quickest among 22 Late Models, Ferguson started the $20,000-to-win feature from the seventh-row and finished just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
Rejoining the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Thursday afternoon, Carson checked in at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) for the Slocum 50. Earning a spot in the $15,555-to-win feature through a B-Main, Ferguson stormed forward in the main event to land inside the Top-10 in seventh.
Friday's NAPA Know How 50 at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) was postponed due to unfavorable forecasts as well as Saturday's Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.).
