Dalton Jacobs picks up first victory of 2024 at Fayetteville in 602 Late Model

Starting off his weekend at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Friday evening, Dalton Jacobs was one of 27 Late Models checked in for the $5,000-to-win Mid-East event.

Qualifying 15th-quickest, Jacobs started the A-Main from the seventh-row and was an early retiree in the 40 lapper.

Pulling double duty on Saturday afternoon at Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway, Dalton joined the Carolina Clash Late Model Series and unloaded his 602 Late Model.

After dealing with mechanical issues in his Super Late Model, Jacobs qualified third-fastest out of 15 602 Late Models. Starting the 20-lap feature from the second-row, Dalton quickly made his way to front and took the checkered flag to earn the $1,200 payday.
