Bryan rebounds with sixth-place finish at Port Royal Speedway

Coming off a victory at the Pennsylvania oval, Bryan Bernheisel returned to Bedford (Pa.) Speedway on Thursday as the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series invaded for the rescheduled Billy Winn Classic from May 17th.

Against a stout field of 33 WoO entries, Bernheisel raced his way into the $15,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place heat performance. After climbing to seventh from the 14th-starting position early, Bryan got spun around by another competitor that dropped him to tail. He put another impressive charge but again got spun out, relegating him to 18th in the finishing order.

On Saturday at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway, Bryan rocketed into the main event with a fourth-to-first run in his heat race. Gunning for the $4,000 payday in the 25-lapper, Bernheisel rolled to a sixth-place finish.
