Austin Holcombe scores podium finish in MEGA 100 at Tyler County Speedway
On Friday afternoon, Austin Holcombe embarked on the first leg of his trip out to the Midwest by stopping in at Ohio Valley Speedway (Parkersburg, W.Va) before Saturday's big show.
Qualifying third-fastest in his group, Holcombe started third in the main event and made it to second before fading back to fourth at the checkered flag.
Locked in for Saturday's $7,500-to-win MEGA 100 at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.Va.), Holcombe joined a stout 51-car field.
Holcombe started 10th in the main event and wheeled his way to a podium finish in third. He trailed Cole Fallaway and Blake Brown at the checkered flag.
