Seratt invades Illinois for Coles County Speedway doubleheader

Lane Seratt returned to the Land of Lincoln over the weekend for a two-day Corn Belt Classic at Coles County Speedway (Mattoon, Ill.).

Aboard his Lineberry Farms No. 29 Micro, Seratt dashed into the opener with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Pinned on the fifth row for the feature, Lane marched forward five spots in the 30-lapper to register a third-place finish. He joined race-winner Braxton Flatt and Levi Ballard on the podium.

For the second round of the Corn Belt Classic on Saturday, Lane squeezed into the finale with an eighth-to-fifth heat showing. With 20 laps to make his move to the front, Seratt clawed forward one spot to finish sixth.
