Dillard scores trio of Top-10 finishes at Highland and Maquoketa with World of Outlaws
On Wednesday afternoon, Cade Dillard checked into Highland (Ill.) Speedway for the Beat the Heat 40 to start off a four-day swing with the World of Outlaw Case Construction Late Model Series.
Setting overall quicktime out of 33 Late Models, Dillard finished second in his heat race and started fifth in the 40-lap feature where he would score a Top-5 finish in fifth.
Thursday's visit to Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) was rained out.
Spending the next two nights in Iowa, Cade Dillard checked into at Maquoketa (Iowa) Speedway among 33 other teams for the Hawkeye 100 weekend.
Rounding out the Top-5 in Friday's $10,000-to-win opener, Dillard finished a few spots further back in Saturday's finale with a ninth-place outing.
