Satterlee climbs to fifth in Baltes Classic at Eldora Speedway

Gregg Satterlee kicked off his Labor Day weekend on Friday evening with a visit to Bedford (PA) Speedway for the Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series-sanctioned Labor Day Classic.

With a third-place finish in his heat pinning him on the sixth row for the $12,055-to-win A-Main, Satterlee steered forward nine spots to register a second-place finish. He joined race-winner Mason Zeigler and Max Blair on the podium.

Using the 16th annual Baltes Classic on Monday as a test session for the upcoming World 100 weekend, Gregg Satterlee invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series sanctioned event.

Starting the main event in 11th via a runner-up heat showing, Satterlee climbed six positions in the 30-lap affair to cross the line in fifth. He chased Garrett Alberson, Carson Ferguson, Jonathan Davenport, and Ricky Thornton Jr. to the checkers.
