Bagley earns top-10 results in Steve Rushin Memorial

Morgan Bagley traveled to Locust Grove, Arkansas, over the weekend for a pair of $5,000-to-win COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) shows at Batesville Motor Speedway. He turned in a pair of strong results to remain a top contender in the series title fight.

On Friday, Bagley was one of 40 CCSDS Super Late Model competitors at the 3/8-mile track for the first night of the Steve Rushin Memorial. A fourth-place result in his heat race put Mo Bags 14th on the grid to start the 35-lap feature. He drove forward seven spots in his P&W Sales No. 14M Super Late Model and posted a seventh-place result.

The next night, Bagley and Team 14 were among 30 CCSDS outfits at Batesville for the final night of the two-day show. Bagley again finished fourth in his heat, starting him 16th to begin the 35-lap A-Main. He climbed seven positions for the second night in a row and came home ninth.

After the Steve Rushin Memorial, Bagley remains second in CCSDS points, but gave up some ground to Logan Martin and is now 30 markers back. B.J. Robinson is eight points behind Bagley in third with just three races left this season.
