Holland posts runner-up finish in All American 60
Chase Holland scored his 10th consecutive Crate Late Model top-10 result over the weekend with a second-place showing at Byram, Mississippi’s Jackson Motor Speedway.
The track’s 13th annual Rogers-Dabbs All American 60 began on Friday with qualifying and heat races. With 14 competitors taking time, Holland posted the third-quickest lap around the 1/3-mile oval in his APEX Fab and Equipment No. 45 ride. He then finished second in one of two Crate Late Model heats, starting him third in the following night’s $2,000-to-win feature.
Holland drove to a second-place result in Saturday’s 30-lap main event, crossing the checkered flag 1.148 seconds behind winner David Williamson. Bobby Jordan, Chris McElhenney and Tootie Arnold completed the top five in the 17-car field.
