RTJ invades Brownstown for Castrol FloRacing Night in America event

Ricky Thornton Jr.’s pursuit for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America title resumed on Wednesday with the sixth round of the miniseries at Brownstown (IN) Speedway.

After racing into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a runner-up heat showing, Thornton was spun out by another competitor while running in fifth that him to the tail. He charged from the back up to seventh only to retire a few laps later.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series doubleheader scheduled for Brownstown on Friday and Saturday was postponed to October 11th-12th.

Ricky remains in second in the latest Castrol FloRacing Night in America point standings.
